    Toodles Noodles

To me, part of the joy of giving or receiving a gift is the anticipation of unwrapping it. I just love seeing a childlike spark in the eyes of my friends and family young and old as they open their gift, and I enjoy giving it even more if I’ve spent the time to wrap it with love. Does it ever happen to you when you receive something where such attention has been placed on the wrapping that you almost want to just hold it in your hand and savour the moment?

Liora from Toodles Noodles’ philosophy embraces that idea and believes that the gifts you give should be just as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. I discovered Toodles Noodles, while strolling through the markets at Ponsonby Central last weekend and was struck by the sweetest array of gift-wrap and stationery, all designed by Liora. Her fun designs are eco-friendly and represent the natural earth feel and love of her new home here in New Zealand after relocating from California six years ago.

If you’re in Auckland you can visit Liora’s store at the Ponsonby Central Markets. A range of her products are also available at Mixt in Kingsland and various other retailers around New Zealand and a few others around the globe. If you don’t find something nearby, her online shop delivers worldwide.

Make sure you pop over to her Facebook page and support beautiful handmade product my liking her page!

We’re experiencing lovely sunny weather in Auckland at the moment, so I’m off to soak up a few rays. I hope that the sun is shining where you are also! See you Wednesday.

Isn’t the most amazing day?! I just got back from the supermarket – ugh – and all I want to do is go to the beach! You’ve just given me another reason to get back to Pons Markets. Asap! x
