Cultivate your Bed with Beautiful Linen

Pure linen sheets would have to be one of life’s little luxuries that I’ve been quietly obsessed with since discovering them as a guest at my mother in-law’s home in France. There’s something about feeling the texture of linen against your skin while you sleep, the fabric breathes and is cool in the hot weather and soft and inviting in the colder months.
I think I’ll forever be faithful to linen and other people that I speak to who have also have experienced it tell me the same. Linen would have to be one of the most hardwearing durable fabrics that actually gets more beautiful with age; my vintage linen sheets are a testament to this and contrary to belief, you don’t have to iron them, in fact I think that the slight scrunched worn look can be all the more stunning.
A couple of months ago I discovered CULTIVER’s products; a bedding range made from 100% pure French flax linen. I got in contact with the owner, Nic out of interest because I had searched for years for affordable linen sheets with no luck until now.
CULTIVER, meaning cultivate in French, offers a range of high quality yet affordable bedding that’s available in two classic colours; white or charcoal grey, fitting into most bedroom decors. What I love is that the linen is stone washed during the manufacturing process, a technique that beats the fabric and softens it for luxurious sleeping.
The company opened shop this year and I’m told that the bedding colour range is set to expand in the coming months along with some other lovely additions such as table linens and modern kilims in organic dyes made from 100% New Zealand wool.
Some very exciting news is that when I told Nic that I’m featuring her product, she offered a stunning giveaway for one lucky reader; so make sure you keep a lookout on my Facebook page next week for details! More good news is that CULTIVER delivers internationally so this giveaway will be open for everyone, wherever you may be in the world!
Happy weekend everyone:)

Dying to try linen sheets sound so luxurious.
